What's the difference between a contract talent vs a full-time talent?
A contract talent is essentially a longer-term freelancer. This means that both parties have fewer obligations to each other, such as social security payments or additional benefits.
A full-time talent is classified as an employee with a signed employment contract. The employee will qualify for benefits in their home country such as social security, medical insurance, and more.
Are the jobs fully remote?
We focus on clients and talents who are looking for a fully-remote working relationship. Depending on client needs, there may also be opportunities for a hybrid working situation.
How much do I have to pay to look for an employer?
Nothing! It’s free for talents.
What qualifications are you looking for in a talent?
Qualification needs vary from client to client. However, we normally require you to have a business-level proficiency in written & spoken English, a diploma / degree / post-grad education level and / or previous experience in your field of work.
Which countries do you hire from?
We focus on the South East Asian region – notably Malaysia, Indonesia, and the Philippines.
Where will my employer be based?
You may be employed by any potential employer, not necessarily in your home country. Our clients are normally located in the United States, Singapore, Australia, and more.
What is your screening process?
All interested talents are invited to submit their CVs via our contact page. Candidates with the right qualifications will be invited for a first-round interview with us.
Once successful, the candidate will be invited for a second-round interview with the hiring company, who then makes the final decision.
Can I hold more than 1 job at a time?
If you’re hired into full-time employment, your terms of employment are dictated by the contract with your employer.
For part-time contract talents, you can hold a maximum of 2 (two) concurrent jobs through Remote Teams.
How will I be paid?
You will be paid via our local entity in the same country as your tax residence. For example, if you pay taxes in Malaysia, you will be paid in RM through our Malaysian entity.
Do you contribute towards my social security?
Full-time jobs qualify for social security contributions & benefits, but contract jobs do not.
What happens if I lose my job?
We will execute final compensation payments to you per your employment contract.
Assuming there was no serious breach of contract, we will also help you to find new employment, if desired.
